She has taught architecture at Tampere University, and is a member of the Finnish Association of Architects.

“In my creative work, I navigate between the languages I’ve learnt, the spaces I’ve visited. The rose-colored walls and light-sculpted spaces in Luis Barragán’s works. The embedded presence of nature in Aalto’s architecture. The spatial melodies in Xenakis’ drawings. The linear motion in Rodin’s sculptures, and his persistence to hold on to his vision.

My work often composes sculptural forms and spatial motion combined with a strong visual presence. It is a dialogue between thinking and doing: playing a melody on a piano or blowing a miniature model in glass.”
